Aaron D. Goforth

Aaron D. Goforth is a seasoned commercial litigator, with deep experience in receivership and bankruptcy litigation. Aaron’s practice includes all phases of commercial litigation in the state and federal courts of Washington and Idaho, and the representation of parties in the Washington Court of Appeals and the Washington Supreme Court.

Aaron’s primary areas of emphasis include breach of contract; trade secrets; receiverships; business law; torts; employment disputes; non-solicitation and non-competition agreements; physician discipline; residential construction disputes; bankruptcy litigation; Consumer Protection Act; intellectual property; arbitrations; mediations; appeals in state, federal, and bankruptcy court; and general litigation.

Represented court appointed receiver in complex limited partnership dispute, including related cases in state court, federal district court, bankruptcy court, and over twenty appeals therefrom.  The primary case has been pending for over ten years and involves over 3,000 filed pleadings.

Represented clients in multi-year patent infringement/trade secret lawsuit in federal court involving over 800 filed pleadings, including extensive motion practice.  Depositions were taken across the country.

Represented securities brokerage firms in relation to obtaining injunctive and other relief against departing stockbrokers who transferred to competing firms.
